1. Payments
All courses and services contracted with Giralda In & Out must be paid using the payment methods accepted by the school and within the deadlines established by the school.
1.1. First Payment: 40% of the Total Amount
To confirm a booking, a payment of 40% of the total amount of the contracted services (course and accommodation, where applicable) must be made at least 4 weeks before the course start date.
Bookings made less than 4 weeks before the start date are subject to availability and must be confirmed with the school in advance.
In the event of cancellation by the student, this first payment is non-refundable. However, the amount paid may be retained as a booking credit for a maximum period of 6 months from the originally contracted start date, subject to availability and upon request for a new start date.
This booking credit is strictly personal and non-transferable and may not be used by any person other than the student who made the original booking.
The fees applicable to the new booking will be those in force at the time of the new reservation.
If the booking credit is not used within the above-mentioned period, it will expire and no refund or compensation will be granted.
1.2. Second Payment: Remaining 60%
The remaining 60% must be paid at least 2 weeks before the start of the programme.
Once this second payment has been made, the cancellation and refund conditions set out in this policy shall apply.

If the cancellation is notified at least 10 calendar days before the scheduled arrival date in Seville, the student will be entitled to a refund of the second payment (60%).
The first payment (40%) is non-refundable and will remain subject to the conditions set out in section 1.1.
2.2. Cancellations Notified Less Than 10 Calendar Days Before Arrival or No-Show
No refund or compensation will be granted.
3. Special Cancellation Conditions
3.1. Visa Refusal
Giralda In & Out does not participate in the visa application process, which is the sole responsibility of the student and the relevant authorities. However, once full payment (100%) of the contracted services has been received, the school will provide the academic and accommodation documentation required for the visa application process, where applicable.
In the event of a visa refusal, the student must send the following by email to info@giraldainout.es:
- A copy of the official visa refusal letter issued by the relevant Spanish Consulate or Embassy.
- Information regarding the reason for the refusal.
The request must be submitted before the programme start date and within a maximum period of 10 calendar days from receipt of the visa refusal decision.
Once the documentation has been reviewed and approved, the student will be entitled to a refund of the amounts paid, less €250 in administrative and processing fees.
Any bank charges or financial costs arising from the refund will be borne by the student.
As an alternative to a refund, the student may retain the amount paid as a booking credit for a maximum period of 12 months from the originally contracted start date.
This booking credit is personal and non-transferable, subject to availability, and may be applied to the fees in force at the time of the new booking.
No refund will be granted where the visa refusal results from false, incomplete or incorrect documentation submitted by the applicant.
3.2. Hospitalisation, Surgery or Unexpected Medical Incapacity
In the event of hospitalisation, surgery or an unexpected medical condition that objectively prevents the student from travelling or participating in the programme, the student must provide an official medical certificate.
Giralda In & Out reserves the right to request additional documentation where necessary to verify the objective inability to travel or participate in the programme.
The documentation must be submitted by email to info@giraldainout.es before the programme start date.
Once the documentation has been reviewed and approved, the student may postpone the programme for a maximum period of 12 months from the originally contracted start date.
The amount paid will be retained as a booking credit, which is personal and non-transferable, subject to availability and to the fees in force at the time of the new booking.
4. Inability to Provide the Service
In the exceptional event that Giralda In & Out is unable to provide the contracted services for reasons beyond its reasonable control, the school will offer the student an alternative date to enjoy the contracted services or, where this is not possible, a refund of the amounts paid corresponding to the services not provided.
5. Programmes Already Started
Once the course or stay has begun, no refunds will be granted for:
- Missed classes.
- Unused activities.
- Late arrivals.
- Early departures.
- Voluntary absences.
- Withdrawal from the programme at the student’s own decision.
No refunds will be granted for services included in the programme that are not used by the student.
